WIN Connects the Independent Music Community in New York

Following the success of its inaugural event in Valdivia, Chile last December, WIN – Worldwide Independent Network is thrilled to present the upcoming WINHUB social event on June 12, hosted by A2IM – American Association of Independent Music during its Indie Week conference. This global networking initiative aims to unite professionals from the independent recorded music community and foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The highly anticipated WINHUB x A2IM Indie Week boat party, powered by Groovelist and Bandcamp, will bring together over 150 professionals from the WIN and A2IM boards and membership, international delegations from Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Ireland, Japan and Saudi Arabia, as well as other industry leaders attending the A2IM Indie Week conference. Against the backdrop of the stunning New York skyline, attendees will enjoy a networking afternoon along the Hudson River.

Groovelist, the groundbreaking AI tool revolutionizing the discovery and licensing of music from various libraries based on the unique requirements and budgets of audiovisual projects, co-sponsors with Bandcamp, the platform enabling fans to directly connect and support independent artists and labels, as this indie get-together. Alongside networking opportunities, guests can look forward to live music performances and other surprises. Music will be provided by Partisan Records.

WINHUB is an international networking project launched by WIN to foster connections within the independent recorded music community worldwide. It combines online sessions with regional focuses or centered on specific topics, organized in collaboration with local trade associations. Additionally, face-to-face activities are organized in conjunction with existing conferences and industry events.

Looking ahead, later this month WIN will organize the online event WINHUB – Get Ready to Export! on June 22. This session will provide members of WIN associations with valuable insights into the initial steps required to expand their reach globally. More WINHUB events are being planned for the second half of the year, including an Asia-focused session.
