The Latin American Independent Forum (Foro de Independientes de Latinoamérica) is a multi-territorial traveling event promoted by WIN and the LATAM Network to strengthen the Latin American independent music ecosystem through interregional cooperation and dialogue, partnerships, and the development of sustainable associative structures.
Through professional activities (including panels, presentations, workshops, and networking sessions) held in various Latin American cities in collaboration with local partners, FILA promotes knowledge exchange and capacity building among professionals, companies, institutions, and other stakeholders in Latin America, with a special focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. FILA aims to integrate the Latin American independent music sector into global networks and value chains, thereby contributing to their visibility, outreach, and economic development.
The Andean Community Independents Forum (Foro de Independientes de la Comunidad Andina, FICA) took place in Medellín (Colombia), Lima (Perú), Quito (Ecuador) and Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia) from November 8 to November 22, 2023.
FICA 2023 was hosted in partnership with Circulart, VMF Pro, VIVA Arte! and the Bolivia Music Awards, and the support of Ibermúsicas.
The Southern Cone’s Independents Forum (Foro de Independientes del Cono Sur, FICS) took place in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Asuncion (Paraguay), Montevideo (Uruguay) and Valdivia (Chile) from November 17 to December 3, 2022.
FICS 2022 was hosted in partnership with A.S.I.Ar, IMICHILE, Planea Música and Little Butterfly Records, and the support of AC/E.
