Regional Networks

Regional networks are collaborative platforms where independents can effectively exchange knowledge, generate strategies, and design solutions that contribute to the development of the music sector in their own markets and across the region.

Latin America

WIN LatAm Network is a working group officially launched in 2020, consolidating years of efforts by local independent music trade associations and WIN to promote associativity and capacity building in the Latin American region.

It operates as a cooperative forum, discussing challenges, promoting dialogue, and creating opportunities for sound recording rights holders and their trade associations in Latin America.

WIN LatAm Network consists of the existing trade associations in the region: ASIAr in Argentina, ABMI in Brazil and IMICHILE in Chile; plus UFI in Spain; and individual companies from other territories where there is currently no trade association (thus far: Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay). WIN assists with general coordination.

They all share the same genuine interest in building bridges of understanding and cooperation between the different territories in Latin America. They achieve this through in-depth discussions, networking, awareness-raising, practical assistance and a global reach.
