LatAm Network

The LatAm Network operates as a cooperative forum, discussing challenges, promoting dialogue, and creating opportunities for sound recording rights holders and their trade associations in Latin America.

The LatAm Network consists of the existing trade associations in the region: ASIAr in Argentina, ABMI in Brazil, AMI PY in Paraguay, and IMICHILE in Chile; plus UFI in Spain; and individual companies from other territories without a trade association (Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay…). WIN assists with general coordination.

The main objective of the WIN LatAm Network is promoting associativity and capacity building in the Latin American region, building bridges of understanding and cooperation between the different territories. It achieves this through in-depth discussions, networking, awareness-raising and practical assistance.

The collaboration between the associations that make up the LatAm Network has been key to the success of initiatives such as the Latin American Observatory of Independent Music, launched in 2021.
