beatBread joins the WIN Supporters program

Just weeks after sponsoring and participating in WIN’s annual conference, WINCON, in Belgrade (Serbia) beatBread joins the WIN Supporters program to champion the global independent music community.

Founded in 2020, beatBread is a pioneering music finance company that provides artists and record labels with advances that are repaid through a limited share of streaming and airplay revenues. beatBread’s north star is the empowerment of artists and labels, helping to grow the value of music and the music business.

In joining the WIN Supporters programme, beatBread further underlines its commitment to the global independent music community, having also joined complimentary Friends, Partners, Affiliate and Associate membership schemes of a number of WIN member associations, including A2IM (US), AIM (UK), AIM Ireland, DUP (Denmark), IMPALA (Europe), and PMI (Italy). The WIN Supporters program offers unique benefits that complement these schemes, which businesses are also encouraged to explore for additional ways to engage with the independent community.

Through this collaboration beatBread will actively contribute to WIN’s work of facilitating connections between independents around the world, promoting the values and value of independent music, and leveling the playing field for the benefit of all.

WIN works tirelessly to promote the value of the independent sector, and its work ultimately helps drive growth and success for artists everywhere. beatBread and WIN share a common belief that independence has never been more important than it is today, and we’re proud to join the organization in their work to help indies achieve success on their own terms.

This partnership will also enable WIN to continue connecting the independents in events such as WINCON and other projects.

About beatBread
Since its launch in late 2020, beatBread has funded artists, songwriters, independent labels and distributors on six continents, with funding amounts ranging from as little as $1000 to $5 million. beatBread advances funds on not only existing catalog, but also new and unreleased music, providing growth capital for working artists, songwriters and labels. All advances are repaid from a share of streaming and airplay revenues, over a period of the client’s choosing. Advance agreements leave touring, synch, and merchandise revenue streams untouched; do not place restrictions around how funds are used; and leave the choice of marketing and distribution partners in the client’s hands.
